This my beautiful Beau who we rescued from a Cats and Dogs Home. He had been rehomed but the woman who originally had him decided that she couldn't cope with him and took him back. We cannot understand it as he is the most loving and affectionate cat. Well her loss is our gain.....
Disappointment Rages.....

I really want to put up some pictures of my precious furry children but alas I can't get it to work again. My dear sister AM has got up from a nap (she gets dreadful neuralga) to help me and it still won't work, gosh darn it......

01.23.07 (7:41 pm) [edit]Right beside my computer is a rather large scratch post (what my kittens spoilt? No never!!!) and quite frequently there is a furry purry visitor right next to me demanding strokes. Lukie sends his love and demands everyone who reads this sends a "virtual stroke"......
The Joy of Crafting
01.23.07 (7:33 pm) [edit]Even though I have dodgy hands and I can't do as much as I used to I still love to do my cross stitch and I also have started knitting scarfs with that lovely furry wool.
Just now I was knitting a lovely red scarf with flecks of gold in it, which will be a present for my friend next month when all of a sudden the red wool suddenly turned black......
He also has a thing about my scissors too but I've cured that by putting them in a tin when I'm not using them, I bet he's envious of his kitty cousins "thumbs" now.....
Furry Alarm Clock
01.11.07 (6:09 pm) [edit]We have 5 cats, well technically 3 cats and 2 kittens. We have been advised by the vet to try and keep the kittens on kitten food and not let them eat the adult food as it gives them the runs. As a consequence the kittens sleep in with us and we close the bedroom door at night so the adults can eat, we also shut the living room door during the day and put their food down too.
The last 3 days I have been woken up at around 8 am by an insistent black boy saying "Mummy I want a cuddle now!" and snuggling into me and going to sleep. How adorable is that?
New Year's Resolutions
01.04.07 (8:28 pm) [edit]I have but one resolution this year, that's to lose weight. I was looking at my old photos whilst anticipating the visit of Nat this year (yay!) and I thought I definitely have put on weight since then. Mind you my hair's a different colour and style since then, I should think so seeing it was 4 years ago since she last came over!
Every year I say I'm going to lose weight but this time I really mean it, I'm not using the d word ie diet rather I'm going for a healthy eating plan. Wish me luck!
Kitten Update
01.04.07 (8:25 pm) [edit]My babies aren't babies any more although Luke still has to grow into his tail. Who kidnapped my beautiful kittens and left these young men?
Luke's new trick is getting into the shower whilst its running and getting slightly wet! Its like he's the naughty kitten and Beau is the good one, much like me and my twin, you work out who's the good one and who's the bad one.....
